JAMMU, Dec 1: A deputation of J&K NHM Employees Association (NHMEA) met Rajeev Rai Bhatnagar, Advisor to J&K LG, in his office chamber at Civil Secretariat, here today and put forward their long pending demands.
Headed by Rohit Seth (president NHMEA) and comprising Dr Arun Deol (senior vice president), Mohit (vice president) and R K Sharma (advisor), the deputation apprised the Advisor regarding their grievances and demands and submitted a memorandum while highlighting their demands.
They demanded release of outstanding salary of strike period in favor of NHM employees of Jammu Region, regularization of NHM employees, wages and incentives to NHM employees of the UT on the analogy of employees of other states such as Haryana and Delhi, removal of anomalies and disparities of AYUSH and a transparent transfer policy.
Bhatnagar assured the deputation that the demands of the NHM employees as put forwarded by the NHM Employees’ Association shall be considered sympathetically and appropriate action in this connection shall be taken as early as possible.
