NHM employees’ delegation calls on ACS H&ME

Srinagar, Feb 24: Joint Coordination Committee (JCC) of JKNHMEA /RNTCP (President) Muneer Andrabi and vice president Altaf Ahmad today called upon the Additional Chief Secretary (ACS), H&ME, Vivek Bharadwaj and discussed issues, demands of the employees.
The delegation during the meeting also expressed gratitude with regards to the approval of ex-gratia relief of Rs 10 lakh in favour of NoK of NHM employees.
In the brief meeting, Abdul Rauof, chief spokesperson of JKNHMEA said, the delegation discussed the issues and demands of employees, especially job policy for the benefit of employees working under the ambit of NHM.
He said that the ACS H&ME agreed in principle that the demands are genuine in nature and will be redressed systemically.
The NHM employees also expressed gratitude to the Mission Director-NHM Mohammad Yasin Choudhary for commencing ex-gratia relief.
“The association always understands the need and value of ex-gratia for the families and that concern was the reason the association was always following the proceedings and today this demand was met in an honoured manner,” the association said.
“We are thankful for the administration which has addressed one of our long pending demands and we are hopeful that other demands will also be fulfilled in days to come,” the Spokesperson said.
