NGSEA seeks re-organisation

JAMMU, Nov 20: Non-Gazetted Statistical Employees Association (NGSEA) has demanded re-organisation of the cadre, regularization of daily wagers and removal of pay anomalies.
In a meeting of the Association held here today under the chairmanship of  PS Jamwal, president of the NGSEA at the Directorate of Economics and Statistics Janipur, the members discussed various pending issues of the employees.  They strongly stressed for the re-organisation of  the cadre, creation of welfare fund for the employees, promotion of Gazetted as well as Non-Gazetted employees of the cadre, regularization of daily wagers, removal of pay anomalies etc.
It was unanimously resolved at the meeting that these pending issues would be persuaded vigorously at the directorate level and the Administrative Department for early redressal. They also extended gratitude to the Minister for  Planning and Development Ajay Sadhotra, the Principal Secretary concerned, B R Sharma and  DG E&S Mr Lachotra for clearing the much pending promotions of the  Statistical Officers as Assistant Directors. Ravinder Singh, general secretary, Mehmood Iqbal and Kulwant Singh were also present.
