SAMBA, Feb 14: In order to continue the process of helping and supporting mankind, a NGO from Austria “Taj-Ma-Halayan” today came forward to help a handicapped and poor lady Kiran Kumari from village Jogpur of Dhamore Panchayat by handing over a scooty to her at a function held in the village today.
This function was organised by Shilpa Dubey, Sarpanch Panchayat Halqa, Dhamore (Vijaypur) in the Panchayat in which former Minister, Chander Prakash Ganga was chief guest while Sat Pal Verma from Gandhi Global Family was guest of honour. After receiving scooty, handicapped beneficiary Kiran Kumari complimented Shilpa to provide her scooty which she has demanded since a long time.
Beside, NRI Ajay Mathur, chairman Taj-Ma-Halayan NGO in Austria and his wife Martina Mathur Media Advisor of the NGO said that they have the life time decision to help the poor, needy and helpless from society without caste, creed and colour. NRI Ajay Mathur has already helped many families in the Panchayat by providing them financial help for construction of pacca houses, hand pumps, etc.
On the occasion some Sarpanchs and Panchs from adjoining Panchayats were also present and they had all praise for Sarpanch Shilpa Dubey.
Others who were present during the function included Rajesh Bittu, Panch Ajit Singh, Fazal Kareem, Anu Gupta, Sharda Devi, social workers Jai Sharma and Chander Shekhar Sharma.
