SRINAGAR, Oct 16: Full Court in a meeting held under the chairpersonship of Chief Justice of J&K High Court Gita Mittal has ordered promotion of 11 Munsiffs as Sub-Judges on ad-hoc basis and granted Super Time Scale to one Senior Sessions Judge and Selection Time Scale to two Sessions Judges.
According to the order issued by Registrar General Sanjay Dhar, Sanjeev Gupta, Principal District & Sessions Judge Kathua has been placed in the Super Time Scale of the Jammu and Kashmir Higher Judicial Service with effect from 01.12.2017 against the vacancy caused on 30.11.2017 owing the superannuation of Justice Rashid Ali Dar as District & Sessions Judge.
Ashok Kumar, Principal District & Sessions Judge Shopian and Sikender Azam, Additional District & Sessions Judge have been placed in the Selection Time Scale of the Jammu and Kashmir Higher Judicial Service with effect from 01.12.2017 and 01.08.2018 respectively. Their placement in Selection Grade shall, however, be subject to the outcome of the representation of Tahir Khurshid Raina, District Judge.
As per another order, Mansoor Ahmad Lone, Munsiff Ganderbal, Archana Charak, Munsiff/Addl. Special Mobile Magistrate R S Pura, Abdul Qayoom Mir, Munsiff Kupwara, Ramesh Lal, Munsiff Aishmuqam, Manzoor Ahmad Zargar, Munsiff Pulwama, Manzoor Ahmad Khan, Munsiff/Addl. Special Mobile Magistrate Thanamandi, Parvin Pandoh, Munsiff Katra, Faizan ul Haq Iqbal, 2nd Addl. Munsiff Srinagar, Noor Mohd Mir, Munsiff Handwara, Swati Gupta, Sub-Registrar Jammu and Rafia Hassan, Munsiff Dooru have been promoted as Sub-Judges on adhoc basis.
