Last week witnessed a series of events emanating from Pakistan as well from within the country which has assumed priority to discuss and share with one another not only for mere information but to know, respond and act. It is not only the brave hearts of our army to take care of the country, its security, sovereignty and integrity even by offering the supreme sacrifice, but each one of us is duty bound to respond to the emerging situation and act with the same devotion and dedication as our army personnel do at the border. At the time of writing of these lines, Handwara terror act in Kashmir has been foiled with the gunning down of three terrorists who had defiled our land. Dressed in army fatigues, they had come fully prepared and heavily armed, equipped with GPS devices, maps, Rs.60000 in cash, grenades, rifles, mobile phones and what not, to attack our army post. As their bodies lay at the encounter site, as many as seven towns in PoK (Gulam Kashmir) including Kotli from where these vermin had been dispatched by Pakistan to Handwara, protests have taken place strongly rejecting the move of the occupational Pakistani army to convert their places into launching pads of terror. They have reiterated their demand for riddance from Pakistan. The people of PoK have vociferously demanded an immediate ban on thrusting Jihadi literature in their schools as the same could lead their loved ones astray to turn into terror brutes to die untimely cheaply. Realizing the mischief created by Pakistan in spoiling the future of their children as Pakistan along with the separatist elements, have attempted to do in Kashmir valley where schools and colleges are shut for the last three months, PoK residents have opposed this onslaught on the future of their children. In fact many educational institutions in the valley have been burnt, under a sinister plan, to deny education and light to the young students.
Foiled Handwara attack comes close on the heels of the Baramulla attack which was also repulsed. Pakistan has really become our problem and an impediment in our otherwise normal life and activity in the state of Jammu and Kashmir, particularly in Kashmir valley and is actively behaving like a stumbling block in respect of our hectic concentration on developmental activities. The entire nation has to be aware of the evil mechanizations of this rogue country in its entirety and devise means to have the country insulated from protracted terrorism fountaining from there.
The new version of the Pakistani proxy war against this country is surfacing day in and day out. In smaller groups Pakistan, by bits and small pieces, is attacking India. It is two pronged- one conventionally at borders mainly in Jammu division and the other in Kashmir from where the points in vast porous and mountainous areas, Pakistanis infiltrate to launch attacks mainly at our army points. The fact of the matter, however, is that post Uri attack, vigil, surveillance and caution is exercised vigorously resulting in inflicting hastened death and elimination of the attacking terrorists. Since Pakistan stands isolated in the comity of nations, it has drawn a damp squib in the UNGA, faced a boycott from member countries of SAARC by not participating in the summit which was slated to be held in November this year in Islamabad and recently faced humiliation on account of India’s surgical strikes deep into PoK terror camps, it has, therefore, reverted to Nuke threats against India. American Government has condemned these threats terming them as loose talk. It is a sort of a severe smackdown faced by Pakistan in response to its Defence Minister Khwaja Asif’s threat to use nuclear arms against India as “they were not show pieces”. Agreed that borrowed or “got on lease” nukes in the hands of an irresponsible country lacking pursuing of a matured and transparent nuclear policy is known to all countries but there must be a serious concern shared by them as a coup or a nefarious act by terror mongers there could result in taking over of the stock pile or even a part thereof by them posing a global danger. Lashkar, Haqqani and Jaish network need, therefore, be clipped substantially to ward off any serious threat to the world. In one of the TV debates, recently on a Pakistani TV Channel, a panelist ridiculed the idea of Pakistan’s nuke blackmail against India by saying, ” Let it be agreed for a moment that Pakistan could inflict damage to India affecting millions, still lot of India would still survive but Pakistan could get wiped off and erased from the world map…” Is Pakistan, therefore, embarking upon a self destructive path, not to complete even a hundred years to see the concept of Pakistan limping to survive by even fits and starts ?
The absurdity and the utter confusion of Pakistan following the surgical strikes , first of its kind , can be seen in sending balloons to this side , written with or tagged with malicious massages. These hand written massages were in Urdu as in that country hardly could one be found knowing Hindi. Another example of stupidity of Pakistan is sending pigeons with messages tied to their legs with “Warning” to Modi Ji that “Today’s Pakistan was not the same as that of 1971 and every Pakistani child is ready to fight.”Whether messages were through balloons or through pigeons or through Pakistani terror establishments or by the Pakistani politicians, all were aimed at Modi signifying how much is our Prime Minister a source of scare and fright to them. Yes. Modi Ji is considered by these Pakistanis as their bête noire. There are a few Indian politicians too, frustrated and disgruntled, who are rather furthering the ante against Modi under one pretext or the other. The surgical strikes have come handy to them to politicize cheaply to the hilt and attack Modi . Take Rahul Gandhi – the future “savior” of the flickering flame of Congress going very shockingly to the extent of berating Modi in the most unsavory tone and tenor by calling him “Dalal of the blood of Jawans” and the one “hiding behind the blood of Jawans”. Note the narrative “Hiding behind”. In fact, it is not Pakistan which seems to be undone by the rigors of the surgical strikes by India in as much as many (and not all) disgruntled and dejected opposition political leaders in India seems to be disturbed. The concern is only one, yes only one and that is the surge in the popularity of Modi Ji and of the NDA and the expected gains in the forthcoming Assembly elections in UP and Punjab.
Remember when Smt.Sonia Gandhi, the Congress President had a disparaging remark about Modi Ji in Gujarat as “Maut Ka Saudagar” . The metaphor imposed on the Congress Party a heavy penalty in terms of votes there and undoubtedly stooping so low , benefitting our belligerent neighbor and filling the news headlines with box references in leading Pakistani news papers, today Rahul Ji has done the same in UP. It is to be seen whether he and his Party shall be rewarded or heavily penalized by the Indian voters, “Khaat aur Kissan Ki Rajniti” notwithstanding. The countrymen have to grapple with the type of politics played by and response shown to the emerging very sensitive scenario imperiling our country from across the border by the likes of Sanjay Nerupam (Congress), Kejriwal (AaAaParty), Ajay Alok (JDu), Chidambaram (Congress) , Aman Ki Asha brigade, JNU liberals vouching for “Tukday Tukday”, Award Wapsi Brigade, Leftist leaders, nervous peace nicks, liberal and “too much” democratic intellectuals and writers ,self styled opinion makers and “experts on Kashmir Affairs” etc. The subterfuge of asking for proof of surgical strikes is simply unpardonable. The claim that a few “strikes” under Congress regime also took place has been belied. Despicable lies, hollow rhetoric, avoidable deluding and the like indulged in by some people have trivialized the import and the impact of these strikes and helped Pakistan to repair its broken morale. This is tantamount to playing into the hands of the enemy, the artists of whom working here and earning crores of Rupees, fame and fortune showed their “loyalty” to their country even in attacking Indian army unit at Uri. Not even one , just one , condemned the Uri attack even in moderate terms but peaceniks in Bollywood are shocked that they had to leave India. See the poison vomited by Miandad , Imran and others.
President Obama did not show proof of Osama’s killing, why should the Indian Government oblige anyone when the DGMO has informed the countrymen? Those who do not respect and believe our armed forces under the pretext of apocryphal arguments have no defence to prove that they owed no allegiance to the forces inimical to the security, sovereignty and integrity of India. Let them not outlandishly expend Indian Democracy.
