JAMMU, Sept 4: Jammu Media Technician Federation today held election to elect management and general executive body for the smooth functioning of the Federation.
In the management committee, Rajesh Khajuria (Mintu) was elected as president of the Federation whereas Ravi Shanker was declared elected as vice-president. Amarjeet Singh and Neeraj Badyal were elected as general secretary and joint secretary, respectively while Jagdish Singh was elected for the post of treasurer.
Similarly, Maloop Singh, Sanjay Kapoor, Ashok Bhasin, Sohail Koul, Sham Verma and Rakesh Dogra were elected as executive members of the Federation.
The election was held in the K L Saigal Hall, Jammu & Kashmir Academy of Art Culture & Languages, Jammu and Dr Arvinder Singh Amn, Additional Secretary JKAACL was the presiding Officer.
After declaration of results, Dr Amn hoped that new team of the Federation would work with dedication and team spirit for the betterment of the community in particular and the society on the whole.
Rajesh Khajuria, after being elected as president, also spoke on the occasion and assured the technicians present in Hall, of full dedication and commitment during his tenure as president of Jammu Media Technician Federation.
