New Dogri song titled ‘Jammu Tawi’ released

JAMMU, Oct 17: On the auspicious occasion of first Navratra, a new Dogri song titled “Jammu Tawi” a desi Dogri extravaganza has been released here today.
The song is an attempt to revive foothold of Dogri among masses. The song has been composed with a vision of an active involvement of youth towards clean Jammu and river Tawi.
The song has been composed, played and sung by Sumit Khajuria and produced by Khajuriapix Productions in association with Dogri Facebook.
The writer of the song KK Shakir, President of India Awardee, is an acclaimed Sahitya Kala Academy writer and publisher of several books in Dogri, Hindi and English.
This song was released today on Dogri Facebook page and Youtube channel of the producer called “Sumit Khajuria”.
Sumit was determined to write, sing and produce in his own native language ‘Dogri’.
“Today’s release ‘Jammu Tawi’ is a tribute to my own city and people. Through song, I appeal to the youngsters to come forward and contribute to the cleanliness of Jammu especially water resources”, Sumit said, adding that the song talks much about the pride of Jammu and The Dogras.
“The focus in the song is to ‘Save Tawi’. All actors and production crew maintained special COVID precautions and successfully finished the end product”, Sumit added.
