SAMBA, June 6: A meeting was organized on behalf of Mata Baba Trust in Diani village here today.
In the meeting members of Padha community participated and a seven member new committee was constituted with Naib Sarpanch of Diani Panchayat, Amit Kumar Padha along with Raman Kumar, Gokul Padha, Amit Padha, Bhushan Kumar, Sanjeev Padha and Rajeev Padha.
The Naib Sarpanch said that for the last many years a Trust was formed in the temple so that the temple could be developed but due to many reasons the work could not be done and now new members have been appointed and it is expected that the temple will be developed now.
He said that the new Trust will be registered so that along with the temple, the village can also be developed.
“Ramleela is also staged in the village and in coming days, efforts will be made to stage it for the locals so that present generation may get an opportunity to understand the life of Lord Ram,” he maintained.
