JAMMU, Oct 1: A new air-conditioned 22-seater bus was today flagged off to Jammu Yatri Bhawan Trust (JYBT) Haridwar for the convenience of the visiting pilgrims to Holy Ganga Maiya.
The bus was flagged off by DC Raina (Advocate General of J&K) after Pooja-Archana performed at Sankat Mochan Panch Mukhi Shree Hanuman Mandir Bhawan of Jammu Yatri Bhawan Trust Jammu situated at BC Road, Jammu.
Earlier, Pooja-Archana was also performed at Karwanda (Kot Bhalwal), the native village of Pawan Kumar Shastri (president, Swastik Charitable Trust Jammu), who donated the vehicle in the loving memory of his late parents Taroo Devi and Mahant Baldev Dass. The vehicle has been named as ‘Mata Pita Ji Ka Rath’.
Further, M/S Anand Foam of Gangyal (Jammu) also donated one Bolero to the Jammu Yatri Bawan Trust Haridwar in the sweet memory of their late father Sat Pal Anand on the eve of his birthday. The Bolero was also sent to Jammu Yatri Bhawan Trust Haridwar on this day itself.
Prominent among those present in the conference were Pawan Kumar Shastri along with all the members of his family, Gurdas Sharma (general secretary/treasurer), Raj Kumar Gupta (Trustee), Koshal Kumar (Trustee), N C Sharma, NK Gupta, Sukhdev Sharma, Ashwani Kumar, working committee members, BR Sharma, administrator, Raj Kumar (general manager), Balbir Singh (field officer), Rash Pal Sharma and all staff members of the Jammu Yatri Bhawan Trust.
