JAMMU, Sept 25: A man today killed his old uncle by hitting him with a log of wood at former’s house over some issue.
According to a police spokesman, a man identified as Jatinder Singh son of Inder Singh, resident of New Plot, in a fit of rage attacked his old uncle with a log of wood after they exchanges heated arguments over some issue.
The injured old man identified as Suram Singh (75) son of late Mukhtiyar Singh, resident of New Plot, was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where he succumbed to his injuries at about 5.25 pm.
The Pacca Danga police has registered a case in this connection and arrested the accused while the body of the deceased was shifted to mortuary room of the hospital for post mortem.
