POONCH, May 12: Neglected by the Government and the public representatives, the villagers from Sanei area in Surankote constructed nearly 4 kms of road in their own capacity.
Sources said that the District Administration Poonch and public representatives (MLA/MLCs) did not pay much heed towards the problems being faced by the people from Mohallah Nalayian in Sanei Ward 9 in Surankote tehsil of Poonch. They even approached the concerned MLA and the MLC concerned but despite this, their road could not be taken up even under CDF by the MLA or the MP concerned.

The village has the population of about 2000 souls and the school going children and other students and employees are facing lot of problems. Upon this, the people held meeting, generated some funds and joined the construction work and constructed the road. Even on Sundays, the students of the area rendered their help to the people involved in the work.
