JAMMU, May 29: Chamber of Traders Federation (CTF) president, J&K, Neeraj Anand has been re-lected as vice president of Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT).
A spokesman of the Confederation said that election results were declared today in the annual general meeting held through viedo conferencing amidst COVID-19 pandemic. The elections were held under the chairmanship of Niklesh Thakar. More than 150 trade leaders from across the country participated in the video conference.
B C Bhartia and Parveen Khandelwal have been re-elected as national president and and national secretary general, respectively. Khandelwal, specially appreciated the working of Neeraj Anand for promotion of trade and industry in the Jammu and Kashmir, despite uncertain political and security situation.
“ Anand has not only contributed nationally in as his role as National vice president but his dedication towards developing trade avenues and steam-lining business in the newly formed Union Territorry of Jammu and Kashmir is unparallel,” Khandelwal added.
Newly elected vice president, expressed gratitude to the National leaders for reposing faith in him and pledged to work tirelessely towards goals set by the organization. He also invited all business heads to visit Jammu and Kashmir to further develop business and help J&K become a role model of economic activities.
