JAMMU, Feb 1: In a special function organised here today by Nami Dogri Sanstha (NDS) local personalities were felicitated for their exceptional contributions in various fields.
Former MLA, Rajesh Gupta was the chief guest on the occasion and the function was presided over by Sohail Kazmi, eminent journalist.
T.R Tagotra was the guest of honour, Rohit Choudhary, RTI Activist was special guest and Sachin Sharma, CEO Om Palace was special invitee while Dogra Harish Kaila, NDS President co-shared the dais.
Those felicitated on this occasion were Amarjit Kour, in the field of Literature and Education; Arshad Khan for Sports; Mohd Ashraf, Bureau Chief ETV; Tarun Uppal, Social Activist; Prof. Bharat Bhushan Anand, in the field of Education and Bilal Bajaj for Journalism.
Yash Pal Yash, General Secretary of NDS compeered the proceedings and read the citation for each personality honoured.
