NDPI reiterates demand of separate Jammu state

JAMMU, June 19: National Democratic Party Indian (NDPI) J&K unit president Rajesh Gupta today demanded the Central Government to make Jammu a separate state.
Gupta maintained that successive Governments at Centre continued with their appeasement policies towards Kashmir centric politics and divide between Jammu and Kashmir regions kept on growing bigger and bigger. He said people of Jammu region have been facing discrimination in every sector for last more than 73 years by the successive State Governments.
The NDPI leader said that nationalist people of Jammu kept on suffering, with colossal discrimination in terms of Government jobs, development of tourism, industries, infrastructure, road network and development of rural and border areas.
