NDPI expresses concern over drug abuse

JAMMU, Jan 8: National Democratic Party Indian (NDPI) here today held executive members and workers meet.
Speaking on the occasion NDPI J&K president, Rajesh Gupta expressed concern over social evils like drug abuse and said, despite strict measures by the police, NGOs, social groups and others, the level of drug abuse is not getting controlled.
He said that it is important to devise a technical formula to curb the menace.
Gupta underlined the importance of devising some formula to regulate vehicular traffic and reduce noise pollution. The NDPI leader said if his party comes to power in J&K then discrimination will be removed forever and every household will have at least one person in Government job.
He further said that his party intends to provide special status to farmers, horticulturists and agriculturist.
Rajan Kumar, Bharat Bhushan Singh, Sandeep Anand, Om Parkash Sharma, S. Ravinder Singh, S. Harmeet Singh, Naveed Hussain and others were also present in the meeting.
