SAMBA, Jan 8: District Police Samba has arrested a drug peddler and recovered 120 gms charas from his possession.
According to police, a team of Police Station, Bari Brahmana acting on tip off during surprise naka checking at Barjani, Bari Brahmana intercepted one Santro car bearing Registration No JK02AE-1931 which was coming from Badhori-Smailpur road and during checking 120 gms of charas was recovered from the possession of car driver.
The police team was headed by SHO PS Bari Brahmana. The accused person was identified as Gafoor Mohammad, S/o Ghulam Qadir, R/o Meen Sarkar, Bari Brahmana. He was arrested on the spot and contraband item was also seized. In this regard, a case FIR No. 03/2020 U/S 8/20/25 NDPS Act stands registered at P/S Bari Brahmana and investigation started.
