JAMMU, Nov 24: National Democratic Party Indian (NDPI) has demanded early Assembly polls and restoration of Statehood in J&K.
In a meeting NDPI J&K president, Rajesh Gupta flayed the government for price hike of essential commodities and said that PM Modi had promised to provide two crore jobs every year but only 7.5 lakh jobs were given in the last eight years.
He claimed that in J&K, the administration has punished candidates who had qualified for various jobs as corruption and malpractices prevailed here.
“Modi Government has resolved to render every deserving candidate jobless,” Gupta alleged adding that J&K has a huge potential for power production and despite harnessing thousands of megawatts of power, the UT kept in dark.
“People of J&K rightfully deserve a part of that power which is produced here,” he maintained.
Those who attended the meeting were Umesh Manhas, S. Kuljeet Singh, Jyotsna Ved, Rajiv Luthra, Sandeep Anand and others.
