NDP demands arrest of Geelani

JAMMU, Jan 31: National Democratic Party has demanded arrest of Hurriyat Conference leader Sayed Ali Shah Geelani for his anti-national remarks.
In a meeting of the executive body of the party held under the leadership of its president, Ravi Bakshi today, the speakers took serious note of the remarks of Geelani against the Indian Army and Police and specially martyrs- Col M N Rai and J&K Police Head Constable Sanjeev, who sacrificed their lives while fighting against terrorists in Kashmir, few days ago. Describing Geelani as Pakistani agent, the NDP leader  stated that such people should have been behind the bars. He  urged upon the Union Government to take immediate action against Geelani to raise the morale of Armed forces fighting terrorism in the country.
