NCP supports Vohra on separate ministry for security affairs

Jammu, Jan 20: Former Minister and NCP leader Th Randhir Singh today supported the statement of J&K Governor NN Vohra suggesting separate ministry for dealing with sensitive security related issues.
Talking to media persons here the NCP State chief supported the remarks of Mr Vohra that the  Pathankot terror strike could have been prevented if lesson had been learnt from the previous such attacks with focus on securing of the country’s border with Pakistan which is not yet well guarded.
Mr Singh said that entire tehsil Hiranagar including his village Ghati has been facing Pakistan terrorism since 1947 from tehsil Shakargrah  now in  Pakistan, which was a part of district Gurdaspur.  Singh said that  he strongly supports very practical solid suggestions of J&K Governor who is well known administrator. Mr Singh also supported another good suggestion of  Vohra  on inclusion of Ranbir Penal Code (RPC) under NIA Act which he took up at the 7th foundation day of the NIA.
He said the two practical suggestions, separate Ministry to handle security related affairs with separate cadre of specialized officers to man it, Mr Singh who comes from a Army background, said during 1947 Pak Army established a Army cantonment at Chak Amru, Pakistan  which was a railway head facing Hiranagar Tehsil and has been used for infiltration and killing the people and taking away their animals  on the international border and now using the banks of  Ujh river right from place the river joins the Pakistan near Kot Punnu onwards to Rajbagh, Jasrota forests, Bakhata, Dhani on the left bank of Ujh river and on the right villages Bamyal,(tehsil Pathankot) Arawan, Mahichak, Dabwal, Ghati, Jothana, Jodh then terrorists go to Bhaddu-Billawar, Lohai Malhar, Bani, Sarthal and Machedi.
Meanwhile,    the State NCP has condemned the role of BJP’s Education Minister Smriti Irani, Labour Minister Bandaru Dattareya and  Vice Chancellor Hyderabad Central University  on the suicide of Dalit PhD research scholar Rohith Bemula, a son of a widow tailor. Mr Singh said  the country  had a most brilliant Dalit leader Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar who gave the best constitution and on his Centenary celebrations a Dalit scholar was forced to commit suicide.
