JAMMU, Aug 16: A deputation of Non Camp Organization Migrant (NCOM) led by ON Koul met Davinder Singh Rana, Political Advisor to Chief Minister and urged him for allotment of quarters at Jagti township to 190 migrant families living in rented accommodations.
A list of 190 families living in the rented accommodations for the past over two decades was also submitted to the Political Advisor.
Davender Rana assured them that he would take up the issue with Relief Commissioner for early redressal.
ON Koul was accompanied by Nana Ji Dambi, president, Ashok Pandita, vice president, Vikas Koul, general secretary, Kiran Pandita, secretary and Rahul Ganjoo, member.
The organization also decided to continue peaceful protest march till demand is met.
