NCCHWO honours unsung heroes of COVID-19

JAMMU, June 14: National Corruption Control and Human Welfare Organization (NCCHWO), an NGO working in the field of welfare for ‘Unseen and Unheard’ today honoured unsung heroes of COVID-19 at Military Hospital, Satwari in Jammu.
J&K Head of the NGO, Brig Harcharan Singh and his team decided to felicitate the COVID Warriors, who are working in the 200- bedded COVID Ward of Military Hospital, Satwari as the stories related to dedicated work of the Medical, Nursing and other Class IV staff was given by many old veterans admitted in the Military Hospital.
To honour these Corona warriors for their selfless service during the pandemic, a team of NCCHWO visited the Commandant and presented Appreciation Certificates from NCCHWO, with a sense of gratitude and pride.
Presenting Appreciation Certificates, the team members said it was due to the excellent leadership and motivation provided by the Commandant of the concerned army battalion Brig KJ Singh that the staff on leave also rejoined to look after the additional load of patients. They said many veterans above the age of 80 suffering from COVID and other serious ailments recovered due to excellent medical care provided by these unsung heroes.
The other team members present on the occasion were Pooja Malhotra, (National president, Women Empowerment Cell), Navin Jain (State coordinator), Giat Nandan Jain (senior vice president) and Captain Ghar Singh (State secretary Veer Nari Cell).
