JAMMU, Jan 11: A meeting of women’s workers was held under the chairmanship of Bimla Luthra, MLA, at block Bishnah, village Khojipur.
On the demands of the women workers, they discussed many problems like BPL, IAY, electricity, old aged pension, widow pension. Bimla assured that their genuine demands would be redressed.
On the occasion, Luthra informed the workers about the development system and policies and programmes of the Government which are people friendly.
She further said that the Coalition Government has made a holistic development and has achieved visible significance in various fields like education, tourism, empowerment, road connectivity etc.
Some prominent workers joined National Conference. Other present were Veena Oberio, Satwant Kour, Radha Bhati and others.
