POONCH, Mar 3: A National Conference team visited the temporary relief camp setup for shelling affected victims in Poonch area today.
The team was headed by Provincial president of Youth National conference, Ajaz Jan (Ex-MLA, who was accompanied by other functionaries of the District body.
The relief camp for shelling affected people of Salotri and Jhulas has been setup near Kunaiyan in which all the affected families are living.
NC leaders met with victims and assured every possible help from the party side.
Migrants underlined the need of immediate restoration of peace and implementation of ceasefire on LoC which is under severe violation at this time.
Meanwhile, in his statement, youth NC provincial president Ajaz Jan said that Line of Control in twin districts of Rajouri and Poonch has been turned into a war zone with even Artillery shelling taking place on civil population.
He said that Governments of both the nations should come forward and ensure restoration of peace. He further hit hard at BJP alleging it to politicise the entire situation for its electoral benefit.
Jan added that sanction of additional 400 bunkers is a welcome step but authorities should ensure that bunkers are completed at the earliest.
