JAMMU, Apr 5: MLC Advocate, Vibodh Gupta, today accused NC, PDP of trying to befool innocent masses and taking them for granted as their own personal vote bank. While addressing media persons at party headquarter, Trikuta Nagar here, along with BJP State spokesperson, Brig. Anil Gupta, Vibodh Gupta said these parties consider the masses as their personal vote bank. The Valley leaders cannot order masses to vote on their dictates and in a democracy people are free to exercise their right to vote according to their own intelligence, he added.
Vibodh Gupta, claimed that, these Valley based parties have nothing to offer to the public and asked them that, if, they have taken any substantial steps to improve their standards of living, particularly the Gujjar, Bakarwal communities belonging to the Scheduled Tribe (ST) category and their rights in the State.
Gupta, said that reservation in promotion, 3% reservation for the Pahari community has been provided with the efforts of BJP leaders and not by NC, PDP and Congress, who only exploited innocent masses.
Gupta, said that, it is also the commitment of the BJP that it will press the authorities to give full facilities to the “Paharies” under reservation as they are the true sufferers, and have faced lots of losses due to turbulence created by terrorists and other mischievous elements in the past.
Vibodh, also enumerated the landmark achievements made under the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi led Union Government, like Individual and Community bunkers, special recruitments in security forces, enhancement in Ex-Gratia relief to the dwellers of Line of Control (LoC) from one lakh rupees to 5 lakh rupees, Rs 5100 crore Jammu-Poonch National Highway project, expedition of work on rail link, opening of Pass Port office and work to process the medical check-ups in home place for persons moving to Gulf countries and many more achievements.
He said BJP’s last five years have represented golden period of good governance by ensuring benefit to most deprived sections. This is truly, “Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas”, exclaimed Adv. Vibodh Gupta.
