SRINAGAR, July 23: The Jammu & Kashmir National Conference (JKNC) chief spokesperson and MLA Zadibal Tanvir Sadiq today visited the bereaved family of Ali Mohammad Joo, a young resident of Nabdipora, Zadibal, who tragically lost his life in a recent road accident at Khomeni Chowk, Bemina.
Sadiq expressed deep sorrow and solidarity with the bereaved family and said, “No words can ease the pain of losing a loved one, especially one so young, but we are committed to standing by the family during this immensely difficult time.”
On the directions of CM Omar Abdullah, the NC MLA handed over a relief cheque of Rs 2 lakh from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund to the Next of Kin (NoK) of the deceased as immediate assistance.
He further assured the family that additional financial relief would soon be extended through the District Red Cross Fund with the support and coordination of the Deputy Commissioner’s office.
“This relief cannot compensate for a life lost, but it is a step to ensure that the family receives some financial support to cope with this tragedy. We will continue to extend all possible help,” he added.
