POONCH, July 29: A team of National Conference leaders today visited the far-flung areas of Mandi-Poonch and held a meeting with villagers to get first-hand information about their problems.
The team was headed by former MLA Poonch and Provincial NC Youth president, Ajaz Jan.
The NC leaders were called upon by Sarpanches, Panches and prominent citizens of the three Panchayats of Arai who put forth several problems including work of roads of these Panchayats.
Jan also visited flood-affected parts of Mandi-Poonch and asked farmers to stay alert in view of Meteorological Department’s prediction of heavy rainfall in next three to four days.
Peer Anyat Bukhari, Abdul Ahad Bhatt, Aslam Malik Sarpanch, Shakeel Parrey Sarpanch, Aslam Tantary Sarpanch and many others were present during the tour.
