JAMMU, Jan 25: NC leader, Vijay Laxmi Dutta today met Farooq Khan, Advisor to J&K Lieutenant Governor and raised the issue of unemployment.
She demanded regularization of Daily Rated, ITI Trained, Casual Labour, Land Donors etc saying about 61,000 of such workers working in PHE, PWD, Floriculture and other departments have not been regularized which is sheer injustice with these people.
Dutta also talked about the sit-in protest by DDC Chairperson, Pooja Thakur at Dachin demanding absorption of locals in Pakal Dul Project.
The NC leader demanded recruitment drive for filling up of vacant posts on fast track basis.
She also raised issues faced by the marginal traders and farmers, hoping that the administration will redress their problems on priority.
The Advisor assured Dutta that the issues raised by her would be examined earnestly at the appropriate level.
