RAJOURI, Aug 19: National Conference leader Ch Liaqat Ali visited village Bharot in Buddhal and took stock of the destruction due to heavy rains and hail storm that destroyed the maize crop besides loss of livestock and property.
He interacted with the party workers and people, who apprised him of the loss as well as their other problems and demands.
Ch Liaqat Ali assured that he would take up the matter with the higher authorities for adequate compensation to the affected families.
The NC leader also interacted with Youth wing of the NC and assessed the preparations for the forthcoming Assembly elections during a meeting.
