SRINAGAR, Nov 16: Senior National Conference leader and district vice president Ganderbal, Peer Mohd Yousuf Shah today joined Apni Party here today.
Shah who is DyBDC chairman from Wakoora joined JKAP along with his close associates and supporters including Mohd Yunis from Kangan in presence of Party president Altaf Bukhari, senior leaders Usman Majid and Farooq Abdrabi.
Bukhari and other JKAP leaders welcomed new entrants into the party fold and said that with the joining of Shah, party will be strengthened in Ganderbal district and its adjoining areas.
Meanwhile, a noted political activist, Advocate Kaneez Fatima from district Baramulla and Heena Fatima from district Budgam today joined Apni Party at its office in Lal Chowk, Srinagar,
The new entrants were welcomed by Party president Altaf Bukhari, senior vice president Ghulam Hassan Mir, state secretary and district president Budgam Muntazir Mohi-ud-Din, Party, media advisor Farooq Andrabi and Adv Sajad Ibrahim.
On this occasion, Fatima who hails from Singhpora, Baramulla and Heena who hails from Kultrah Chadoora said that the performance of Apni Party leadership convinced them to join this party and pledged to devote themselves for the welfare of people on a grassroots level.
They affirmed to put into their efforts to strengthen the party on the ground level and further its socio-economic and political activities so as to address the sufferings of the people in their areas.
Party president Altaf Bukhari said that their joining in the Party shall convince others to join their hands with this Party in their respective areas.
