UDHAMPUR, Feb 22: Ranbir Singh Pathania, the Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Udhampur East, criticized the National Conference (NC) for allegedly failing to meet the expectations of the people in Jammu and Kashmir.
He accused the NC of ineffective governance, shifting blame onto the Central Government, and failing to deliver on promises made during elections.
Pathania urged the NC to “come out of its closet” and focus on improving governance and delivering public services efficiently.
He stressed the need for modernizing Government systems and addressing key issues such as employment, corruption control, and the welfare of daily wagers and contractual workers.
At a series of well-attended Janata Darbars in Kaldi, Thanoa, Garani, and Bredian, Pathania reiterated his commitment to the motto “Development, Development, Development” for his constituency.
He emphasized the Government’s responsibility to meet the public’s needs and aspirations, advocating for responsive governance.
Pathania also praised Centrally-Sponsored Schemes like Jal Jeevan Mission, PM Gramin Sadak Yojana, and PM Awas Yojana for their positive impact on the region’s infrastructure and living conditions.
He urged the completion of these projects to maintain momentum in regional development.
Announcing several key infrastructure projects, Pathania allocated Rs 60 lakh for the development of the National Highway to Kreya (Garnia) and pledged to complete the blacktopping of the Dhar Road to Guddar Road soon.
He also highlighted plans for new sports stadiums in Garnai and Thanoa and the construction of PMGSY roads connecting Thanoa and Rakh Thanoa.
Pathania concluded by assuring the people of his continued focus on practical solutions and the development of Udhampur East, regardless of political rivalries.
