NC enforces laws for benefit, betterment of people: Tony

JAMMU, June 28: National Conference district president Jammu rural ‘B’ Taranjeet Singh Tony conducted series of meetings of party workers at Chandu Chak and Layian Talhar villages in Suchetgarh Constituency today.
Addressing the gathering, Tony said that NC is dedicated and devoted cadre based party which has been continuously fighting for the cause of the solidarity, integrity and dignity of the people of the State.
Highlighting the performance and achievements of Coalition Government headed by Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, he said that lot of people friendly laws have been enforced in the State for the benefit and betterment of the people and also to give a transparency in the working of the administration  such as RTI, Public Service Guarantee Act, Constitution of State Accountability Commission and Constitution of J&K Vigilance Commission.
He added that the Coalition Government has also taken solid measure for unemployed youths such as SKEWPY, Udaan and initiatives for fast track recruitment.
Tony further said that the greatest achievement of the Coalition Government is the Panchayati elections and devolution of powers to the Panchayats of 14 public related departments of the State including planning at the gross root level, supervision of activities and carrying out work programme to ensure the participation of the Panchs and Sarpanchs in the development and planning at gross root level.
He cautioned the people to remain vigilant against those who want to divide the society on religious line to further their political objective.
