JAMMU, Nov 18: Stating that the leaders of NC, Congress and Panthers Party have turned out to be issueless and are making misleading statements, BJP State Spokesperson Balbir Ram Rattan charged these leaders of shedding crocodile tears for Jammu when their parties are now out of power.
Balbir Ram Rattan said that the only work left with these leaders is to make daily statements aimed at holding BJP responsible for all the misdoings of their past, when they were in power but did nothing for Jammu.
“It was NC, Congress and Panthers, which were in power as coalition partners or headed the governments on their own in the past but failed to end discrimination with Jammu during their tenures and are now misleading the people after being rejected in Lok Sabha and Assembly elections”, he said and added that the people are best judges and will not fall prey to the false propaganda of these parties.
The BJP spokesperson said that the Panthers Party, which is charging BJP of neglecting Jammu, seems to be unaware of the facts. One cannot understand as to why their leaders do not recognize that the PM’s package has been announced for the State of Jammu and Kashmir and not for Kashmir only. AIIMS, Smart City, IIT, IIM for Jammu, 5100 crores for Jammu-Poonch road, huge amount for four lanning of Ramban-Banihal road, are the projects which are meant for Jammu province, he added.
As far NC’s claims of not allowing divisive forces to disturb the singular character of the State, Balbir said that in fact it is the NC, which has been dividing the people and trying to create wedge between one religion and the others.
