NC committed to fight for restoration of J&K’s special status: Rattan

JAMMU Apr 22: National Conference said that the Party is committed to fight for restoration of J & K’s special status.
This was stated by Party’s Provincial president Rattan Lal Gupta while addressing a one day convention of women’s wing at Kotli Miya Fateh village in RS Pura, here today which was organized by vice president women’s wing, Bimla Luthra.
Gupta said that the Party stands by its politics of truth and remains steadfast on its commitments made with the public. The party’s agenda has always been in line with peace and progress of J&K and restoration of special status and statehood is the prime objective of the Party.
He also urged women to come forward and play their crucial role in the decision making. He said that the National Conference is the only party which firmly stands for peace, prosperity and unity of J&K.
Bimla Luthra listed out various initiatives taken by the National Conference from time to time for the empowerment of women particularly living in far flung areas.
The convention was attended senior leaders including Babu Rampaul, Vijay Loachan, Abdul Gani Teli, Naresh Bittu and many others.
