NC committed to give 33% reservation to women: Bimla

JAMMU, Dec 1: Contesting candidate of National Conference (NC) from Jammu East Constituency and MLA Bimla Luthra, today said that NC is committed to give 33% reservations to women folk in the developmental and political field.
While addressing the workers during a meeting at Ward No 2 and Ward No 3 of the constituency, where she also did door to door campaign, she said that NC is only the political party which is people friendly, takes care of weaker sections, down trodden and poor people in the State.
The MLA said that Jammu East has potential to grow as a vibrant constituency and every step will be taken to harness its potential by channelizing the development in proper direction.
She said the most required, power and drinking water supply will get focused attention while there is need for further improving the utility services.
