Jammu, Dec 20: Mushtaq Kak, Sangeet Natak Akademi awardee and senior theatre and film artist has announced a ‘Natya Utsav’- a national theatre festival dedicated to legendary theatrist late Kavi Rattan.
In a meeting held today, Kak said that it was his cherished dream paying tribute to the State’s modern theatrist Kavi Rattan- a National School of Drama graduate, who rought a revolutionary method of theatre techniques in the State.
In meeting, it was discussed that plays from J&K as well as other States will be invited for participation in the Utsav which is going to be held from February 15.
Khalid Hussain, former DC Jammu, Ravinder Kaul art critic and senior artists Pritam Katoch, Madan Rangila and Romesh Chander attended the meet.
