JAMMU, Aug 21: Natrang’s 50-day International Theatre Talk Show started today with amazing insights on ‘My Vision of Theatre’ by one of the towering personalities of Indian Theatre, Neelam Mansingh Chowdhry on the Facebook page of Natrang Jammu.
Director Natrang, Padmashri Balwant Thakur informed that, Natrang has endeavoured this ‘International Theatre Talk Show’ series which is a lifetime opportunity not only for the theatre practitioners and art connoisseurs but also for the general audience to listen to the ‘Vision of Theatre’ of the highly enlightened Visionaries of Theatre.
Earlier Gauri Thakur introducing Neelam Mansingh Chowdhry, informed that Neelam’s eventful journey in theatre is an inspiration for many. She informed that Dr Chowdhry is the recipient of several awards including the Sangeet Natak Akademi Award in 2003, and the Padma Shri (2011).
Neelam Mansingh Chowdhry while answering live questions, suggested workable tips for those who want to do meaningful theatre as it requires patience, perseverance, vision, mindfulness and even soulfulness. The live session was attended by a sizable gathering from across the globe.
