Natrang to stage ‘Bawa Jitto’ play at Jhiri Mela

JAMMU, Nov 13: Natrang theatre group is going to organize mega theatrical event on the supreme sacrifice of Dogra legend Bawa Jitto at Jhiri Mela on November 16 and 17 at the main stage of Jhiri fair site.
Disclosing this here today, Natrang director, Balwant Thakur said that the show timings will be 7 pm on both the days. He told that Bawa Jitto play will be a major attraction at the Mela. Thakur said that Natrang has been organizing the show of Bawa Jitto for the last over eight years at Jhiri Mela which has been witnessed by lakhs of people.
The mega theatre show of Natrang is supported by Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board and the District Administration Jammu. This will be rarest opportunity for the audience to live through a six hundred year old saga in memory of which this festival is held every year since ages. The play has been scripted by Late Padamshree Prof Ram Nath Shastri, the director maintained.
