Natrang stages two new plays on environment

JAMMU, Sept 29: Under its popular ‘Sunday Theatre Series’, Natrang here today staged two new improvised productions, ‘Gandagi, Nahi Hai Meri Zindagi’ and ‘Change The Future’.
Both the plays were prepared under the guidance of Gauri Thakur and conveyed the message of saving our environment from pollution.
A handout stated that air pollution, poor management of wastes, growing water scarcity, falling groundwater tables, water pollution, preservation and quality of forests, biodiversity loss, excessive use of plastic, polythene, single-use plastic and land degradation are some of the major environmental issues India faces today.
Young kids presented the acts expressing their views on threats of pollution and ways to curb it.
Those who acted in the play included Abir Beri, Aviral Kapoor, Abhinandan Nangla, Kushan Baliya, Devisha Gaur, Priyal, Sanchi Dutta, Adiv Sharma, Srishti Kapoor, Abhiuday Gupta, Mannat Sharma, Advita, Anadya Beri, Viraj, Sanyam, Vivan, Amritansh Dogra, Manhar and Dhairya.
The show was coordinated by Sumeet Sharma.
