JAMMU, Apr 10: Natrang presented a new and out of the box performance of the play ‘And till the end’, today.
The content and action of the play was devised by actors themselves under the direction of young director Rahul.
Rakesh Gupta, Principal Secretary, Agriculture Production, Forests, Environment and Remote Sensing, was the chief guest on the occasion.
The performance was followed by an interactive session with the audience who critically appreciated the experimentation and design of the play and also suggested spaces for its further exploration.
The play ‘And till the end’ depicted three acts which kept on playing simultaneously with moves, gestures and dialogues without overlapping and distracting one another.
It carried not a single thread story but attracted the attention till the end which was impressively portrayed by the actors. The idea was to depict the daily dilemma we all humans go through. We are filled with immense emotions and these emotions lead us to be lost somewhere when whole world is walking by our side. It is when no one can describe you except a tear, it is when you feel alone in crowd, it is when you cannot find anyone to tell what you feel, but still at the end we choose to be happy forgetting all that is happening inside our thoughts.
The play ended with a message that if we are in black we should still flow towards the light and that is life and we have to live. Despite crawling through the dark, the play moves towards a ray of hope.
The young actors of Natrang who enacted in the play included Rajan Thakyal, Mahikshit Singh and Shivam Singh. The music was rendered by Aishwarya Sathe, Gopi Sharma did the presentations and the show was coordinated by Neeraj Kant and Mohd Yaseen.
