JAMMU, Sept 20: Bhartiya Chhatra Sansad (Indian Students Parliament) is going to hold its 11th annual national conclave of Students from September 23 to 28. The six-day conclave will be held online this year due to prevailing situation.
This was informed by members of the Chhatra Sansad, while addressing a press conference, here today.
The 11th annual national conclave will have 10 different sessions covering various issues of national and international eminence. Apart from the ten sessions, the inauguration and valedictory session will be addressed by various luminaries from the field of media, politics, sports, judiciary, social activism and spirituality among others.
The 11th BCS is likely to have participation of 12 Union Ministers, 10 Assembly speakers, 40 MLAs from different States, about 30 Thought Leaders and 60 student speakers.
The topics to be discussed in the 11th Indian Student Parliament are; Leadership Lessons: Nehru to Modi; Priorities after pandemic: What young India wants?; Saving the environment: Too much talk, to little action; Celebrities and stardom: The good, the bad and the ugly; Indian economy: Beyond the blame game; Social media: The emerging superpower; declining sanctity of public institutions-fact or falsehood; Why opposition of Farm Bills; International Relations: Reconciling with neighbours and Youth in Politics: Illusion and reality.
The annual national conclave of Bhartiya Chhatra Sansad is organized by Bhartiya Chhatra Sansad Foundation with active support of the Union Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sport, Government of India along with Association of Indian Universities and the UNESCO Chair of Human Rights, Democracy, Peace and Tolerance, Pune.

Each of last ten annual conclaves had witnessed participation of 10,000 politically and socially active students from 450 universities in India and other countries.
