Nation does not need literate robots but citizens full of values & teachers can play vital role :PM

NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today asked teachers to prepare the generation next which should be  sensitive and cultured rather than a robotic generation
Interacting with students on eve of the teachers day here, Mr Modi said the every student had latent talent and what we are supposed to do is to identify and refine that talent to the fullest  by giving them opportunities.  This, he said, can be done only by teachers as they (students) spend maximum time with them (teachers).
It was the duty  of teachers to inculcate values like social and cultural and they should be sensitive to surroundings too, he said.
The Prime Minister said only sensitive generation could deliver to the society and that by virtue of kindness, he could help the society and others around him. He made it clear the country did not need well read robots but a generation full of values.  (AGENCIES)
