SRINAGAR, Sept 12: Alleging that the narrative of Ghulam Nabi Azad on restoration of Article 370 was not different from the BJP’s narrative, veteran Congress leader and former Union Minister Prof Saifuddin Soz today said that J&K people would continue their struggle for the cause they consider to be sacred i.e. restoration of Article 370 of the Constitution of India.
“If Shri Azad were a student of history, he would know that the primary proposition is that the people were always known for the vitality of their struggle for achieving the goal, rather than the goal itself!” he said in a statement, issued here today.
Alleging that the Central Govt abrogated Article 370 of the Constitution of India unilaterally, Prof Soz said that the people of the J&K State have started a democratic, peaceful and sustained struggle for restoration of the Constitutional position while the premier party in the J&K mainstream political class has additionally approached the Supreme Court for restoration of the Article 370.
