JAMMU, Feb 19: Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) councillor, Neelam Nargotra in presence of J&K BJP media secretary, Dr. Pardeep Mahotra and BJP Talab Tillo Mandal, president, Keshav Chopra kick started construction of lane and drain in Kabir Colony area of Ward No. 40 falling under Jammu West Assembly constituency today.
District president BJP SC Morcha, Yashpal Shivgotra, Arun Dubey, Abhishek, Nitin, Paramjit, Shallu, Rahul, Krishan Lal Sangral, Angrez Singh, Satish Kumar, Rajinder Bangotra, Shibo Devi local residents and social activists of the area were also present on the occasion.
Dr. Pardeep Mahotra, speaking on the occasion mentioned that with the construction of this lane and drain in the area, the people will get respite from the problems being faced by them, particularly in the rainy season. He said that the BJP is committed to ensure basic amenities including proper road infrastructure, adequate water, and power supply to common masses and party’s councillors are working in this direction with utmost devotion.
Keshav Chopra reaffirmed party’s commitment for the development. He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi and the dedicated efforts of party’s public representatives, the J&K will see multifaceted development.
Neelam Nargotra while giving details of the work said that the present work in Lane No. 10/A of Kabir Colony area will be executed under the supervision of JMC with the estimated cost of Rs 35 lakh, which will include several works of lanes. She said that as the representative of the people and the dedicated worker of BJP she is committed to do provide development at the doorsteps of the masses.
