RAMBAN, June 4: Cracking down heavily on Narcotics smuggling under ‘Operation Sanjeevani’ Ramban Police under the overall supervision of SSP Ramban Anuj Kumar, foiled a Narcotics smuggling bid in Ward No. 1, in Ramban and arrested one person with 200 gms charas.
Earlier, a police party of PS, Ramban, while conducting patrolling duty stopped one pedestrian.
On questioning, he disclosed his identity as Irshad Ahmed, S/o Abdul Salam, R/o Ward No 1, Ramban. During the process of checking the charas like substance approximately 200 gms was recovered from his possession.
A case FIR No 127 of 2024 under relevant provisions of NDPS Act registered at PS Ramban and the investigation has been started.
