UDHAMPUR, Feb 7: Police today arrested narcotic smuggler and recovered 15.28 grams contraband substance (charas) from his possession at Battal Ballian, Udhampur.
As per the police, the police patrolling party of P/S Udhampur led by Inspector, Vijay Singh Choudhary under the supervision of DYSP and Additional SP Rohit Chadgal and Rajindr Singh Katoch laid nakka near the Battal Ballian area and arrested one suspected person.
The suspected person was immediately nabbed by the police and during the person search, 15.28 grams charas were recovered. The accused identified as Kuldeep Kumar S/o Om Parkash, R/o Rathian .
In this connection, a case, FIR No: 67/2020 U/S 8/20 NDPS Act registered at Police Station Udhampur and further investigation of the case is going on.
