Mechanic booked in rape, cheating case

JAMMU, Feb 7: Bishnah Police booked a mechanic in rape and cheating case.
As per police sources, a complaint was lodged by a girl with Police Station Bishnah stating that a man identified as Gopal Krishan, son of Tilak Raj of Gurdaspur fraudulently married her and later fled away after developing physical relations.
The accused was working as a mechanic in a JCB showroom at Sarore, sources said, adding that the man was already married of which the girl was not aware.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 20/2020 under Sections 376, 420, 493 and 494 IPC has been registered at Bishnah Police Station and investigation started.
