JAMMU, June 16: Katra police today nabbed a narcotics smuggler and recovered 740 capsules from his possession.
As per police sources, police team from Katra police station during patrolling intercepted a person on suspicious grounds.
During checking, police recovered 740 intoxicant capsules and nabbed him on the spot.
The accused has been identified as Kuldeep Singh, son of Kartar Singh of district Reasi.
A case under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act has been registered at Katra police station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Katra police station Inspector Kuldeep Krishan made the arrest under the supervision of SSP Reasi Sujit Kumar.
