Narayan Singh visits flood hit villages

JAMMU, Sept 11: Kr Narayan Singh, president of Amar Kshatriya Rajput Sabha along with his team, visited Purgwal, Sajwal, Gowar Hamirpur and Kona villages in Akhnoor tehsil and assessed the damages caused due to recent floods.
He interacted with the villagers at Hamirpur Kona and Gowar where large number of people narrated their woes and sufferings because of the damages caused to their houses, agriculture land, crops and roads.
As the road from Sua number I to Pargwal, Hamirpur Kona has been damaged at the number of places, the people demanded alternative route to Jammu for providing relief material to them. A concrete bund from Gujral Nursery to Bedi Pattan Hamirpur Kona was also demanded to avoid further damages to the villagers.
