By winning Bronze medal in the men’s 10 m air rifle event in Olympic games held at London, ace marksman Gagan Narang has done India proud. Gagan has also to his credit opening the medal account in these games.
The country had pinned hopes on Golden boy Abhinav Bindra who could not defend his Beijing gold medal this time, and Gagan Narang who clinched four gold medals during Commonwelath Games. Narang lived upto expectations by bringing first medal for the country.
His feat will certainly give a boost to a new crop of players in the country. After Common Wealth Games in India, Indian sports scene has changed for better. Hope the players like Gagan will keep on bringing glory for the country.
